Hi, I’m Karissa Michele! I’m a fulltime working mom sharing realistic tips, advice, and ideas for moms everywhere. My journey to motherhood wasn’t very easy but, it was worth the wait. Ever since I could remember I always wanted to have a family of my own sort of like the ones you see in all the romcoms. You know, girl meet boy, they fall in love, get married and live happily ever after. Well, let’s just say I learned life doesn’t always workout that way. I’ve learned over the years that life works out exactly how it’s supposed to  all in God’s perfect timing.

My husband and I met in college and dated for nearly 10 years before we decided to get married. We always talked about having kids but, in the back of my mind I never truly believed I would be a mother not because I didn’t want to be a mom. I think I was just afraid of all the responsibilities that came with being a parent and the fear of not connecting with my child scared me.

Long story short, I found out I was pregnant on June 11, 2023 after trying to conceive for almost two years. Since that day my life changed forever in the best way possible. Jeremiah is truly my miracle baby.

Often times I think of all the events that lead up to my son’s birth and I just cry because I know for a fact that God is real. My little family is living proof of that!
