We’ve survived a whole year of learning and growin

We’ve survived a whole year of learning and growing together.

Over the past year, I’ve discovered so much about myself. For one, I’ve developed an incredible amount of patience. I never imagined I could love someone as deeply as I love my son. I’m utterly captivated by everything he does. It’s a gift and a curse to be someone’s entire world. Whenever I’m away for work or even just a few minutes, Jeremiah lights up with excitement as if he haven’t seen me in years. I prayer that this feeling to last a lifetime!

Many people don’t know this, but I’m not a really touchy-feely person. I prefer not to be hugged or touched for too long. In fact, physical touch is the last on my list of love languages. Because of this, I was afraid of becoming a mother because I thought wouldn’t have the best connection with my child. I never wanted him to feel unloved. Well, I’m happy to report that Jeremiah’s hugs and slobbery kisses are the highlight of my day.

My baby boy has transformed our lives in the most incredible way! I am looking forward to the new memories we will create.
